My Process

01.

Initial Contact

Reach out to me via my contact link providing me with all the information I need. And then I will get back to you within 2 business days! If there is a delay in response (sickness, backlog, etc), I will usually update that on my Instagram story!

Deposit

Once the details have been confirmed, a 25% deposit on all session types is required to secure your spot. This deposit is non-refundable.

Planning

At this stage we will talk over all the details/ideas! Including your session vision (any creative ideas), my approach to posing/prompting, locations, and any Pinterest boards/inspo you have!

If you have booked a wedding, we'll do all the above, as well as book an engagement session (included in your wedding package). And I will also send out a questionnaire usually 2 months in advance, which details me everything I need to know about your special day!

04.

Making Magic

The day of! The magic happens! I suggest arriving to your session on time, or 5 minutes early. The remainder of the session cost is due at this time. We will spend anywhere from 45-60min capturing some beautiful, story-telling photos. And then in 2-4 weeks you will receive your gorgeous online gallery!

For weddings, I will go with the flow of your day, usually following the timeline that we curated or you provided. This day is all about you! I'll be capturing your connection all day long, whether that be with strict posting, gentle prompts, or sneaking a candid moment.

FAQ

This is my first photoshoot and I’m kind of nervous.

I definitely understand nerves, but there is no need to be! I will direct you through prompts/poses, and we'll just have a fun time! If you have any specific poses you want to capture, I always open it up at the end to get anything you specifically want.

What should I wear?

I suggest well-fitting clothes that express your personality, and coordinate with others in your group! Choose solid, neutral, or muted colours, and basic patterns. Avoid logos, or words, or black/very dark colours. Layers and textures also add visual interest. Always factor in your location/vibe of the photoshoot as well as the weather!

How many pictures will I receive?

For regular sessions, I guarantee 25+ photos, but anywhere from 25-80 is expected. For weddings, there are no photo limits.

Are you available outside of Grey Bruce?

I will go anywhere with you! A travel fee may apply based on distance.
